There are many types of drugs. When a person takes the drugs, first he feel high and later he gets zeal. But later they cause many negative effects on the human body, career and life as well.
Generally people participate sports in order to be healthy. Athletics and international sports are held in order to create healthy competition among people and create co-ordination among countries as well. Many people have been inspired by the spirit of the competition to put most efforts at highest possible levels in order to win in respective sports. Sometimes this extreme desire can cause some athletes to do some unfair things to win in a competition. Using drug in order to enhance the performance in competition and to win is the one of the illegal or unfair practice in athletics.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association tightened the rules about using drugs of sports men. Drug test is the test, in which drug presence is detected in the body of a person, in order to find out the drug using sports men. Sports men are eliminated from sports, if they get any positive result in drug test. There are some commonly illegal drugs, like marijuana, cocaine, and opiates, and more. So they conduct the marijuana testing, cocaine testing and more in order to find out the such drugs' usage by sports men.
Thus, it is important to conduct the drug test, in order to prevent the participation of drug abusers in athletics and other sports.
